Collection: Tension squares

Universal knitting/crochet tension square in centimetres and inches incorporated with knitting needle size gauge in millimeters.

Put the gauge on top of your work and count how many stitches fit inside the cut-out square. Count along the bottom for stitch gauge and up the side for row gauge. By rotating the square you can measure in both - stitches per centimetre or stitches per inch, depending on what your pattern calls for.

This handy tool also can help to find out the size of your knitting needles if it's worn out. Simply insert your needle into one of the holes.
